Well, to define yourself in a new place is a tough mission. And Elsa just chose a crazy way.
"People won't take it just because you want no-talking!"
I guess her mum is about to crack out.
"Or we should just let it be." Daddy just gave up.
"I'm gonna find out what happened." Leaving with a big "bump", mum went out of the room followed by dad.
"Anytime you want a talk." Dad whispered to the daughter with a sly smile too.
Online chatting is a great tool, isn't it?
So, the following is part of Elsa's e-mail to her best friend.
---- So, I decided not to speak. I mean, literally. I guess I'm trying to find myself ... I'm doing a experiment.
And here's reply.
---- So? You'll finally figure it out.-- That's no use. Or you just quit speaking life long? Let's wait and see. After all, you are always surperising. Tell me why I am not surprised.
See. There's still people can understand her.
Daddy: so you are gonna stick it? like how many days?
Elsa: already over a month. : )
Daddy: That's long enough. U really should stop!
Elsa: Not until i find what i'm looking for.
Daddy: what are you looking for?
Elsa: the issue here is ...

Sometimes you are waiting to grow up so that you can run away off all those things that you don't like. And you thought once time comes, you can just be yourself and forget about all those idiot things. Just to remind you, you are making a big mistake. Cuz you'll find that if you can't make some changes now, then you won't have any chance or courage later. If you can't be yourself now, there's no possibility that you can run away later.
But the note wasn't shown to the boy.
"Nile. Nile Pettyfer."
Elsa. She pushed the heavy history book on the table with her name on it. Elsa McCain.

Then there goes the bell. More exactly, that's the sound of Elsa's cell phone -- the alarm clock.
She ate up, stood up and went away after give Nile a polite smile.
" Nice to meet you. " Nile murmured.
